I know I haven’t been posting frequently as I normally do. I’ve been personally caught up in a lot of school and taking care of Alice. I have been starting so many projects I have yet to even finish. Which brings me to talk about why these projects have kept me so busy. With this past year, I had been trying to find my niche.
I wanted something I can call my own, thus me starting a blog. I wanted a means to be able to channel my thoughts, energy and hope as I write, something would come along. After all I am a writer. But as always things come up.
Ever feel like you just can’t figure it out? Always feel super frustrated that things don’t make sense?
That’s perfectly fine. A lot of us mommies feel like that. Only just recently, I knew I wanted to be more than a blogger. I wanted to be a Mompreneuer.
Yes, that word is a made up.
Through this process, there’s a secret. It’s finding your niche.
When you first hear that word you would think there is some cryptic meaning behind it. All it really means is that to succeed you need to find what’s true to you. Why you do what you do. When you have that figured out everything falls into place. It’ll honestly help produce a much more successful blog as well.
Here are a couple reasons why finding your niche will put you on the path for awesome success.
- MORE TRAFFIC TO YOUR SITE – Think about it. When you post more things that hold a little bit more consistency people will want to read more about it.
- BECOME AN EXPERT – Let your niche become your extension. Be someone who someone can literally call you a professional. Continue to follow through with that theme because the better you get, the more likely you can start to monetize it, whether it’s your blog or a small business.
- YOU WILL HAVE FUN – I know how subjective that sounds but isn’t it true for a lot of people? I mean isn’t that why we’re here? To enjoy what we love doing.
What it all boils down to is being able to put the work into your ideas and make them come to life. I know I do it all for Alice.
All in all, I guess what you have to ask yourself is what are you passionate about?
